STAND WITH JUNIOR AGAINST INJUSTICE

- My name is Karen Pulido, my 23-year-old son Rolando (Junior) has falsely been accused and is being charged with 3 felonies and a misdemeanor in the state of Florida. NOONE had or has ANY INJURIES!!!! While on vacation with his girlfriend Mariea (6 months pregnant), another family member and 2 kids. Junior and Mariea were supposed to stay at an Airbnb by themselves. Instead, they helped another family member and changed hotels twice because of bugs in their hotel rooms! Junior and Mariea ended up sharing a divided room. The days were going well, making the most of shared spaces. On their last night in Florida, there was an argument but not between Junior & Mariea, Junior was trying to get Mariea to follow him out to the balcony near their part of the shared room. Mariea was already emotionally upset due to the stress, not to mention pregnancy hormones! Another person went to the hotel office to tell them Junior was hurting Mariea. Maintenance came to assess the situation, and Mariea said she was fine, just emotional. The police showed up and asked Mariea if Junior hurt her. She said no, he just grabbed her wrist and tugged on the back of her pants to say, 'Let's go outside!' THEN... Then a chold told the police Junior swung at her but missed! Child later admitted she lied and misses Junior but noone has told the police to protect Junior!!! My son was arrested in Florida! Everyone else came back to Michigan the next morning, leaving Junior in jail with a $45,000 bond, which at the time we didn't even know about! Mariea (also helping with this fundraiser) and I worked with a bondsman who allowed 10% ($4,500) to bond him out, and we did it with just the two of us (with some of Junior's money as well). We also had to fly him back home with a round-trip ticket to return to court on June 2, which has since been canceled. We're waiting for a new court date and do not have insurance on the plane ticket to change the date. We have exhausted our savings and now need to hire a criminal law attorney! Junior has a court-appointed attorney, but he won't talk to Junior on the phone; we have to communicate through email only. We are VERY worried; Junior is facing up to 80 years in prison! We do not EVER ask for ANY help, but we are now! Please, we can't loose him to the system and in another far away state alone!!!!! We desperately need funds for an attorney. We have talked to several, and retainer fees start around $10,000 and then will still charge around $40,000 as we go! WE KNOW we're asking for a lot, but we have a lot at stake! The 3 of us are working and saving $ toward the fees. My son's life is worth my own and more! Please help if you can. Please, please, please, share!!!! I do expect at least one person specifically to reply to this fundraiser negatively!!!
