My pen name is Jill, I am seeking assistance to pay for college. After high school, I attained an Office Assistant Certificate from a local Technical College. I went on to gain 5+ years professional experience as an Administrative Assistant.

After that I was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to be a stay-at-home-mom (SAHM) for my 3 daughters. I had a blast creating Jill Clark Comics on Instagram during the COVID lockdown. Now, my youngest is in school and I am eager to re-start my career. I have a gap in my resume. To be competitive in today's job market and achieve a decent wage, I need to update my skills.

I have successfully completed three terms (82% of the required credit units) in pursuit of a Bachelors of Science in Business Management- Marketing through Western Governors University. I want to contribute to family finances and set an example for my girls in being hard-working and productive.

My wonderful husband has been working hard to provide for our family of 5 on his own. As a lower middle class family, I'm not eligible for Financial Aid - only unsubsidized loans. I paid tuition on a combination of unsubsidized loans and credit cards. I continue to apply for scholarships but have only received $1,000 in 1.5 years. As the debt and interest grows, so does my anxiety. I don't wish to put my family in significant debt - the point is to improve our financial situation!

I am a good investment. I have completed 82% of the total credit units required to attain my degree in a year and a half. I also received three Excellence Awards for essays submitted! If I am able to maintain this accelerated pace, I will be able to complete my degree by the end of 2024 - saving time and money.

This effort and success demonstrates my hard work and dedication. I believe I will be successful in achieving a Bachelors Degree in Business - Marketing at WGU and re-entering the workforce. I just need some help paying for college. Thank you for your consideration and support!
