Hello, my name is Brandi Camacho. I'm starting this GoFundMe page for my dad, Louie Stewart.
In light of new information found about my dad's condition, he will be in need of your support until he is able to begin to receive disability.
We learned today that he has stage 2 bladder cancer. He will be undergoing a very extensive, life-changing surgery. He will no longer be able to work and do what he loves after this surgery. He will not be able to provide for his family because he will not be able to make an income.
After his surgery, he will be eligible for disability, but that will take months to be approved. He will have no income for the next several months and has nowhere to turn for financial support.
Utility bills, car payment, car insurance, doctor bills, medications. He will have no way to supply the funds for these things. He is in desperate need of help with these things. He needs reliable transportation to get back and forth to treatment, utilities to keep lights, heat, and water on, medications to give him the best chance at fighting this and winning.
We are in shock about the information we've received today and will share those details with you all in time. My daddy is going to have a really hard time mentally and physically with this life-changing, major surgery that he will have within the next upcoming days.
If you are able, would you please consider donating to my dad's cause to help keep his head above water financially as he is facing the most pivotal moment of his life?
We are scared. We have faith that God will carry him through it all, but this is going to be very hard earth-side. If you are able to donate anything at all, it would greatly help and be greatly appreciated.
He has been though so much his entire life and his life has never been easy. From 3rd degrees burns and skin grafts on over 30% of his body as a 6 year old baby to having his face crushed and reconstructed as a 40 year old. He has suffered from epilepsy. His home caught on fire in 2014 and we lost everything inside the home. His oldest granddaughter, my 7 year old baby, was diagnosed with cancer in October 2022. And now this diagnosis with a scary, major surgery on the way. His life will never be the same after this. He doesn't deserve any of it.
He cares so much about others and being able to help. This pending life-changing surgery is going to affect his ability to do what he loves to do and is really going to weigh on him. He is burdened by the fact that he will no longer be able to help people with their vehicles.
Please, if you're able, show him that he is loved and valued outside of his ability to provide help for others. He is a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He is loved by so many and I pray he feels that love.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for your consideration in helping out the first man of my life, my hero, my Daddy. Thank you.
