Ruzha has been with us for two whole years!

PLEASE HELP ME BRING RUZHA HOME TO LIVE WITH ME!

Ruzha (Rose in Bulgarian) was rescued in Oct 2020 in Bulgaria.
She was starving, scared and trying to survive.
The villagers said she was dangerous and wanted to shoot her.

My  friend Sandy caught her and  took her home. Despite severe anaemia and heartworm, Sandy decided to give her a chance.
She gave her lots of steak and iron supplements to treat anaemia plus heartworm medication and BIG BIG LOVE!

See how well Ruzha looks now!https://youtu.be/grIWiv_Vpjk

Now Ruzha loves playing with her toys and her friend Pipsqueak who was rescued at the same time.
£800 of the money already raised has paid for the food and medicine to save her life

But Sandy already has 3 dogs and many future rescue animals need her care.
She works independently to give one-to-one care to the dogs and cats she rescues as well as neutering hundreds of animals across the region. (Polga's Fund)

After fighting so hard to survive, Ruzha deserves to have love, walks, safety, good food and cosy snoozes by the fire for the rest of her life.
I'd love to give that to her in my home.

This is the plan!

I need to find a way to get her to the UK.
The rescue charity that usually bring dogs over can't do that at the moment due to covid and brexit restrictions.
Maybe I fly out to collect her and fly her back.
Maybe someone driving from Bulgaria offers to bring her.
Maybe BA or a pilot offers to fly her back.
I'm not sure at the moment with covid travel restrictions how we are going to do this!

I would like to raise the money to bring her over however that is possible. I'd love there to be remaining funds i can give to the amazing people working with dogs out there.

With a gift, however large or small, you will become a FAIRY DOG PARENT to make Ruzha's dreams of safety, food, walks and love come true!

You might know that due to Covid, I haven't had any showbiz income this year which is why I'm asking for your help for her.

If you'd like to help Ruzha get a magical new life and live happily ever after, it would be wonderful if you would contribute to her fund,  every donation is love and magic in action, thank you!
(If you are struggling financially this year, please just imagine her well and happy, running around the Lake District! )

Any money raised above the costs of bringing Ruzha to the UK to live with me will go to Sandy's Polga's Fund for the other animals and if we have more over, to Street Hearts BG, their centres are overflowing and all those dogs need feeding.

It would be amazing if we could get a big donation so they can get the Street Hearts BG buses running again, bringing 40 dogs a month to their 'fur-ever' homes in the UK, working with their sister charity   www.dogs4rescue.co.uk

Accountability
Sandy  has the receipts of food and medicine  given and we can share these on request.
By Dec the cost of food and medicine for Ruzha was £800 which has been given and spent.
I have kept £300 from the fund aside for her travel but it looks like getting Ruzha to the UK  will cost more.

All receipts of money spent are available on request and totally transparent.

PS   Ruzha is pronounced, Roo as in Kangaroo, then Zsa as in Zsa Zsa Gabor! (or like 'Je' in Je m'appelle Romany!)   Oh, and you have to ROLL your R!

All my love to you and thank you for reading!
