This is Destiny, she is 10 years old. It is extremely difficult for me to write this, my name is Candace I am Destiny's mother. Destiny has had an extremely difficult year starting in may 2016. One day out of the blue she became very dizzy and lost consciousness she fell limp in my arms, it was the scariest moment of my life. She ended up having an MRI done on her brain which was the second one she had she also had one done in 2014 due to major migraines that would cause vomiting and pain well the MRI came back"okay"which at this point I don't know what okay is any more. Shortly after that she started spitting up blood so when I say blood I mean only blood bright red blood. She has been in an out of the er has had three major procedures an endoscopy a colonoscopy and a bronchoscope. Through all of this I have no answers none that are helpful. Today I found out she has invasive group a streptococcal in her lungs but that is not the leading cause of what's going on that is still to be determined. Although very very serious, we have an appointment at Riley on the 14th . She has missed tons of school as well as I've missed just as much work and with everything piling on we could really use the support. I'm not the type of person to ask for help but we could really use it. I will update every time we hear more news. Thank you and please keep destiny in your prayers
