I wrote a play about Dora Maar and my Grandmother Lia, I will debut in Rome at the end of September at Teatro Trastevere . It is going to be a monologue for stage, me and myself and all the ghosts from my and Dora Maar's ancestors life.

Dora Maar was a surrealistic croatian photographer and activist from the 40's.

She was Picasso 's lover, muse, guide and suffered from schizofrenia, hospitalized at Saint Anne and cured by Jacques Lacan. I would like to tell her story because her mental illness was more a reflection of a bright bold intensity brought into her art and life of others than what is been told by History like the usual victim of a narcisist male genius. A brightness that made her choose an ascetic dimension at the end of all that set her free from power, success and toxic patriarchy.
