I nearly lost my life to a diabetic crisis — now I’m fighting every day just to survive.

On December 1, 2023, I was rushed to the ER in diabetic ketoacidosis — dangerously close to slipping into a coma, or dying, if I hadn’t gotten there when I did.

Since then, my health has rapidly declined, and my future is uncertain.

I’m battling:

• Semi-controlled Type 2 diabetes with dangerous swings that have already sent me back to the ER
• Stage 3 kidney disease, leaving me severely dehydrated and often in need of IV fluids
• Constant dizziness, fainting, and chronic spinal pain that force me to rely on a cane
• Severe vision impairments, leaving me confined to near-darkness indoors
• Ongoing referrals for colon, cardiac, and other urgent follow-ups 

This crisis has caused me to lose EVERYTHING:

• My home, car, and job,
• My perfect credit and the financial foundation I worked so hard to attain,
• My independence and mobility — every trip for groceries, prescriptions, or doctor appointments now depends on costly Ubers I can’t afford,
• My sense of safety and stability leaving me to live each day in fear of the unknown,
• And, in June 2025, I lost my cat Sammy to kidney failure — with $231 still owed for his euthanasia and cremation.

I am raising funds to help cover the overwhelming costs of:

• Medical care and medications
• Testing, labs, and procedures
• Transportation to appointments
• Basic living expenses
• Special veterinary care for Boo and Bella
• Without a place to bury Sammy, he remains in a freezer, at the vet, until I can give him the dignity of a proper rest.
