Hi, my name is David, and I’m reaching out for help with our newly adopted dog, Ryder.

Before adopting Ryder, we had him spend a few days with us in our home to make sure he would be a good fit with our other pets, and we fell in love. We took him to the vet to make sure he was healthy, and a mast cell tumor, a form of cancer, was discovered. Our veterinarian advised that surgery, which will cost approximately $1,800, is the only option to give him the best chance at a healthy future. Ryder is only 4 years old and has so much more life to live.

We lost our shepherd in July, and our hearts were broken. We were devastated. Ryder's loving and gentle nature has already done so much to help us heal. He is the dog we need, and we are the family he needs.

Even though we've had him for less than a week, we already love him dearly. We are completely committed to his care, but facing such a serious medical expense so soon has been overwhelming.
