Hi, my name is Sandy. Lesley was my best friend. She died tragically 6 1/2 years ago.
I want to honor Lesley and place a marker on her grave because her grave is
still unmarked. She was a member for many years at MDDA, now DBSA. She found family
there. She devoted her time as a volunteer in the office, guiding people who called seeking
help. She edited the monthly Polar Express Newsletter. As a facilitator in the Women’s Group,
she led the group with modesty, compassion and skill in bringing people together. She was a
leader in her own quiet way. She deserves recognition. Thank you.
