SETX Flood Recovery

My name is Jamie Hornbuckle, a realtor from Wimberley, TX.  I grew up in the subdivision of Pinewood, a tight-knit community in Southeast Texas between Beaumont and Sour Lake. Hurricane Harvey pounded Pinewood and it is a 100% loss according to FEMA.

Homeowners are just now able to get into their homes to start the clean up process. My goal is to bring much needed supplies (mosquito spray, plastic totes, masks, gloves, bags...) to my friends, their families, and neighbors as they clean up the utter devastation left by the flood.

I have identified one family who has lost everything and did not have flood insurance who will get part of the donations as well.

I am leaving Thursday (9/7) morning to stock up on supplies to bring as they are running low in the SETX area.  I will front the money for supplies and document the purchases. Once the funds can be withdrawn, I will pay myself back (except for my own donation of $200) and purchase a gift card with the remainder for the family mentioned above. Once my mission is over, I'll take down the Gofundme page.

Thank you for considering a donation, and rest assured that every bit of it will go directly to helping hurricane victims.
