Our beloved Pia Ballard, a beacon of love, strength, and compassion, is facing the toughest battle of her life. After being diagnosed with Colon Cancer in July 2022, Pia has shown unwavering courage and resilience. However, the cancer has recently spread to her abdomen and lungs, necessitating aggressive treatment at Moffitt Cancer Center.

As Pia embarks on this challenging journey, she needs our support more than ever. A devoted wife to Kevin and a nurturing mother to three beautiful girls, Paige, Anna, & Kenzie, Pia is also an esteemed educator. For the first time in her 21-year career, she may not be able to start the school year teaching or end her current school year with her students. Her inability to work, compounded by mounting medical expenses, is placing a heavy financial burden on her and her family.

Currently this summer, Pia faces days without pay, exacerbating their financial strain. Our mission is clear: to rally around Pia and her family during this tumultuous time. Let's ease their worries by alleviating the financial stress, allowing Pia to focus solely on her health and recovery.
