On September 19th, Boo Johnson, Axel Cruysberghs, David Reyes, Brent Waterworth, Oliver Flores and a few others will be riding bicycles 418 miles from Phoenix, AZ to Long Beach, California to promote and raise money for Bridge to Skate, a volunteer based non-profit program located in Compton, that benefits the health, happiness and well-being of minority youth in low socio-economic communities through skateboarding- a sport that has brought us all together.
With everything that has happened recently, we want to do our part. As skateboarders, we feel the best way to do this would be to give our support through skateboarding- because we know how much a skateboard can change a life. The money raised will go toward the Bridge To Skate program in Compton- a volunteer based program that offers free after-school and summer skateboard programming.
100% of these funds will go directly into improving the skateboard ramps, purchasing additional skateboards and safety equipment, and building more obstacles for the youth in Compton.
