The Phoenix Center has been a leader in the Hudson-Berkshire Division in providing a high level of education in the Olympic Sport of Fencing.
We at Phoenix believe that swords are fun and want as many kids to experience the sport, just as we all have while growing up. To do this we offer some of the lowest Membership, Class, and Lesson Fees in the Northeast for a Full Time Fencing Facility.
Our Staff works tirelessly to grow the exposure of our sport in as many avenues as possible. Our coaches currently work with Vassar Fencing, Arlington High School Fencing, Poughkeepsie Day School, Marist College, and Goshen Sports Complex. As well as hosting Girl and Boy scout troops.
With the growth of our sport, we need to increase the size of our facility in order to provide the continued quality education our students recieve.
We are asking for $20,000 to help build out our new space. A Phoenix "Re-Birth" if you will!
When you Donate a Strip, Reel, or Machine we will proudly display your name on said equipment!
This new space will have 5-6 Grounded Electric Strips, An athletic floor designed for the rigors of Fencing, Be a tournament venue for local events, and be a community for the next generation of fencers!
