My name is James Dustin Baker. I ran, and won, a spot for the DNC Delegation from the Georgia 10th Congressional district - and I am proudly and enthusiastically supporting our Former First Lady, Former Senator, Former Secretary of State, and all around current awesome individual Hillary Clinton to be the Democratic Nominee and next President of the United States.  

I'm 29, a young LGBT Democrat, and a proud UGA Bulldawg. I have two degrees from UGA - a B.A. in Political Sciences and an Masters in Public Administration.

I'm raising funds to help pay for the cost of going to the convention. Our state party is estimating it will be between $4000-$5000 for the flight, hotel, food, and related expenses to attend the convention, and encouraged us to raise funds from friends, family, and fellow supporters. But, I'm going to forego the expensive meals and use some frequent flyer miles I've accumulated and try to do it for $3500. 

Going to support Hillary Clinton has been a dream of mine. I went to the 2012 convention, and I as much as I like and respect Obama, my goal was to meet Hillary Clinton because she has been a personal hero of mine. Sadly, this was not going to happen because, as Secretary of State, she followed the tradition of not attending political conventions while serving as America's top diplomat. However, this time, it will be different! 

So, your donations will be much appreciated. I'm going to represent the 10th district, LGBT people, and young Democrats across the country. Not only will your donation help me attend the convention, it will help me cross off something from my bucket list - meeting the next President of the United States: Hillary Clinton!
