Phil Jones Benifit Fund

As some of you may be aware, a former SWFLANT, and current Cape employee, Phil Jones is battling cancer.

                Phil was diagnosed about two months ago and had surgery to remove the cancer. He was required to be out of work for six weeks and was placed on short term disability. Just prior to his proposed return to work, he was retested. It was determined they had not gotten it all or it had spread.  The type of cancer he has is very aggressive.  As a result Phil will be on short term disability for the foreseeable future.

                Phil has two sons, Ryan seven, Ben five, and a wonderful stay at home wife/mother Deanna.  Ryan is an awesome kid with special needs and Ben is your typical five year old with typical five year old needs.  As you would expect, and it is easy to put yourself in this scenario, Phil and his family are not having an easy time with short term disability as the only source of income. Anyone who knows Phil knows he is a salt of the earth, good as gold guy. A great father, husband, friend and employee.
