Josephine's Toast

I was chosen as one of the four chefs to start the first Pitssburgh Restaurant Incubator. (Smallmangalley.org) Similar to a buisness incubator it will be a test of how my restaurant will do out on its own. I have 18 months to prove that I can successfully run my restaurant. But I need your help to get started.

My vision for my restaurant is fun, bright food with a great crunch. When I was small my grandma used to always make me toast on the morning with butter and jam. Since she passed there has never been anyone who could get the butter to jam ratio right or the toast just crunchy enough.

My restaurant goal is to take that feeling that was created by the memory of my grandmothers toast and add a fine dining spin to it.  any donations will be helping with opening costs such as inventory, small wares, cooking equiptment and staffing.
