Liver Transplant

Donation protected

In December of 2013, my daughter Peyton Page was diagnosed with a childhood disease called Biliary Atresia. BA is a disease of the bile duct. The bile duct is a digestive liquid that is made in the liver. In BA the bile duct becomes inflammed and blocked, causing damage to the liver. The end result is most likely a liver transplant. Only 15 percent of infants that are born with BA grow up never needing a transplant.
Recently, Peyton's Hepatologist informed us that her liver is  inflammed and enlarged, which will only cause more issues. So, it's time for the transplant. She is currently on the list and reluctantly has a live donor match. Which is her father, Brandon.  As of now Peyton's transplant is scheduled for September 16, 2015, right before her 2nd birthday on the 28th.  Please keep our family in your prayers.

We just want to shed light and awareness on Biliary Atresia, not a lot of people know about it and its life-threatening if not properly treated.
