Veteran House Eagle Scout Project

My name is Peter Chong, and I am a Life Scout in Boy Scout Troop 401 and sophomore at Brophy College Preparatory. Currently I am working towards the Eagle rank. For my Eagle Project, I intend to build four bunkbeds at Soul Sanctuary Veteran House. The goal is to assemble the bunkbeds onsite and then paint each one in the different military branch colors.
Soul Sanctuary Veteran House recently opened and is in need of sleeping arrangements for its incoming residents. The house provides transitional help for veterans who are suffering from PTSD and/or physical injuries. My hope is that this project helps make our nation's heroes transition more easily as they readjust to civilian life.
All funds raised for this project will go towards purchasing the bunkbed frames, mattresses, bed sheets, pillows, tools, and paint. All extra funds, if any, will be donated directly to the Veteran House.
