FOR THE LOVE OF PERLIE: Fighting Cancer Every Step of the Way
Meet Perlie Arreo-Cabatingan, 33years old. She grew up in Cantilan, Surigao del Sur, Philippines. Perlie and her husband Iggy arrived in Toronto April of 2014 as immigrants. She is the kindest, optimistic, very hopeful, full of humor, most generous, bravest sister, daughter, classmate, batchmate, a dear friend, and a wife.
Perlie was first diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer last July 2017, underwent chemotherapy and thought she had beaten the disease. Then in June 2018, the doctors revealed a tumor on her liver and that cancer had spread to the other parts of her body.
She may not be the kind to ask for help, but Perlie would give you the shirt off her back, even if you weren't the kind to ask for help either. That’s how we know her. Perlie and her family are in need of financial support (bills, rent, etc.) We are asking everyone who knows her and respected her to support her toughest fight against cancer.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you all.
And most especially this goes out to our dear Perlie: Cancer may have changed your BODY but never your heart or soul or the way we feel about you. Keep fighting! Let us beat Big C – it is tough but you are tougher. You are NOT alone, together we will win.
We love you so much.

Perlie posted a video on her Facebook account last November 13, 2017 just after her chemotherapy (ovary). Perlie is indeed a fighter...
"As I turn 33 today, I would do one of the bravest thing in my life ~ sharing publicly my life's journey in kicking CANCER out... I hope after watching this video, you'll be inspired to be hopeful and optimistic at all times no matter how hard life's battle can become."
