Hello! We're Vanessa and Crystal, daughters of Eddie, and we're reaching out to our community for support after a devastating fire (photos below) has turned our lives upside down.

In the early hours of March 14th, tragedy struck our family as a fire tore through our home in Houston, TX while we were asleep ( Telemundo Coverage of Our Home) . This horrific event has left us, including our parents Eddie and Luz, myself (Vanessa), my husband, our 9-year-old son, and two surviving pets, displaced and in urgent need of assistance.

While we are incredibly grateful that we made it out safely, the loss of our home and other beloved pets has left us heartbroken and facing an overwhelming journey to rebuild. Our family has lost cherished memories, irreplaceable possessions, and the place my parents called home for over 30 years. With no insurance to fall back on, we are now faced with the daunting task of rebuilding our lives from the ground up.

We are humbly reaching out to our community for support during this incredibly challenging time. Your generosity will go towards the home rebuild which includes things like demolition, permits, materials, and along with basic living necessities while we take these next steps. It will also help tremendously in the long road ahead as we work to rebuild our home and our lives.
