Hello future partners and creators, My name is Blaine Childers and I am the writer/director of the short series Perennials. I come to you humbly asking for donations to make a film that has been on paper for almost two years. It is a deep heartfelt dream that I wish to share with you all on screen and one of many to come. Due to certain inequities this project has been taking a back seat to other works that are less costly but it has been too long! So I come to you now pleading for aid in reaching the goal we have set and finally making this piece happen. We have a wonderful cast of native Chicago Talent and we are all eager and hungry to show the world what this epic is about. In a world of Sparkly pretty Vampires, we are hungry to bring back horror to the genre of supernatural. With flair and elegance, story telling and spine tingling cinematography I know the fans and soon to be fans will see my vision and be reinvigorated for this classic and dying breed of films. "Perennials" is set in modern and old Chicago of 1871.
..History is never told completely...in 1871..the city was burnt to a cinder..in an effort to save its soul...there was no hope for the human race..without the destruction of what they worked so hard to build
With an entirely new and fresh take on supernatural beasts this tale will have you engaged and questioning so many other tales told. Basing a lot of the story from Bible scriptures and actual events. We are in need of funds to allow rental of equipment for our two day shoot and cover transportation of cast and crew as well as visual effects. Your donations will make that happen and you will not be left in the dark. Our goal is to make something we can distribute to Netflix and with your help I know we will NOT fail!
-Any donation will recieve a special thanks in the credits of the film for doing what you can to help us express ourselves, entertain and impress you.
-Any donation of $50 or more within $200 will recieve a Blu-Ray copy of our final product signed by our cast and with a special note to the individual investor
-Any donation of $250 dollars will get you iMDB credit as an Associate Producer on our series and you will be with us at our screening when we finish the film, as well as a play by play of our process during the making of. As well as perks for the above donations.
- Any donations of $500 or more will allow Co-Producer credit and a featured role as a Vampire/Slayer or victim in the second episode, as well as inside scoops and passes to our first screening. (Above perks
included)
-Any donations matching and surpassing $1000 will allow Producer credit (one tier above Co-Producer) and be able to be on location with us during filming either on camera or behind to witness how these endeavors will be captured (above perks included)
