Pennsbury for Dender

Kimberly Dender has been a Pennsbury employee for over 10 years. She is currently a Kindergarten teacher at Quarry Hill Elementary but in the past has also taught 1st grade at Quarry Hill. Kimberly has 4 children. Kate, Patrick, Kevin and Norah. Norah currently is a 5th grade student at Penn Valley Elementary. Kimberly is a proud Pennsbury parent! She also has three step children with her husband Scott Collings.
Scott has fought a long hard battle with cancer that started out as Thyroid Cancer. Unfortunately, at this time his battle is coming to an end. Kim has been at his side throughout his illness and continues to be his loving wife and caregiver. Scott is on currently at home on hospice per his wishes.
We all miss Kim being at school as part of our Quarry Hill family but know she needs to be at home taking care of Scott. Kim brings such joy to Quarry Hill with her smile and caring ways. She is always smiling and willing to help other people. There is no other person who can put a smile on your face just by being there.
