Dear friends, family, and the amazing online community we’ve gotten to know over the years,
My love, known to some as Peaches or Amanda, was diagnosed with uterine cancer in November.
The news came as a shock, and as we’ve taken the last couple months to process and plan, we are still coming to terms with the scary diagnosis.
We still have some unanswered questions, but are staying diligent and hopeful, leaning into our faith and community to get us through this scary time.
Peach is a light to all that have met her, and even more to those of us that know and love her. She’s the person who will take the shirt off her back, give away her last meal, help people get across the street when they’re struggling … She has given her very last dollar to help someone in need. I’ve been witness to these acts of love and so many more.
Her heart is a pure one, a special one, a joyful one. She is light.
Moving forward, she has surgery scheduled for early January and we’ll get more answers then.
We welcome all prayer, positivity, buenas vibras, lit velas, y más with open hearts and gratitude. She will take the time off of work for her procedure and recovery, and as her partner, I will be taking a break from work to be by her side.
Some of you may know me through my work, Very That, and as a self-employed owner of a small business. 2024 has been the hardest business year for so many of us, and it’s been a struggle to stay on top of the busiest time of year with this devastating news. These have been some of our hardest times.
This is where we need your help.
Funds raised through this campaign will go toward covering medical costs, life expenses, etc.
This news was unexpected and truly devastating, but we know we’ll get through this.
We are grateful for all the support you’re able to offer, whether monetary or by sharing this, praying for her, and also by prioritizing your own check ups (this is really important for her to share).
Peach is the best person I know, really and truly, and has so much fight in her. Thank you, from the very bottom of my heart, for being part of her fight.
