At Pause For Paws Animal Sanctuary, our objective is to assist overwhelmed shelters by creating a sustainable network of volunteers backed by partners we continue to foster. This will lead to a membership base that can assist and rehome any dog in need. Unlike typical rescues and shelters, with our volunteer-owned & operated system: we can never be shut down, de-funded, or overwhelmed. We will never give up. We will always be here.
Our sanctuary is not just us. Our sanctuary is not one place. Our sanctuary is everyone in the community. Our sanctuary is you. Whether you already have dogs or wish to foster or adopt, or you simply just want to join to show your support, we connect everyone together and create the Volunteer Sanctuary Pool Alliance; the "VSPA". We then fundraise for you. We conduct food drives for you. And we identify low cost to free medical care for your dogs.
We are Pause For Paws Animal Sanctuary.
YOU ARE THE SANCTUARY.
YOU ARE THE ALLIANCE.
Here is a breakdown of where funding is spent:
40% (Internal Operations) At-Risk Dogs Needs; Spay/Neuter, Shots, Vaccines, & Other Medical Costs
30% (Internal Operations) Food, toys, beds, and other supplies which go out to our members that adopt or foster.
20% (External Operations) Volunteer Outreach, Promotions, and Supplies.
10% (Internal Operations) The Pause For Paws Animal Sanctuary Emergency Fund. (A fund that our members can tap in to in an emergency situation to help their pets, ie surgeries or medical procedures)
We are volunteer owned and operated. We only reimburse our volunteers. We do not have paid positions. 100% of our funding goes to assist our VSPA in one of the capacities listed above.
And now, here is a step-by-step breakdown of what we do everyday:
And are a few of the dogs we have diverted from entering overwhelmed shelters.
We always have dogs in our intervention program still looking for homes. With donations, we can place more volunteers on solving these cases. Please help by either donating and helping us reach our goals in here or signing up as a VSPA member and helping us reach our goals out there.
