Paul Runyon Turner
Donation protected
Paul Runyon Turner "Paulie" was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 21, 1948. Throughout his life, he consistently and honorably worked his best in many ways: through his military service with the 3rd Marines in two tours of Vietnam earning several medals, his 25 year career with the Conrail Railroad and finally, his work at McSheas’s Restaurant in Narberth. Paulie’s bright, welcoming smile and hearty greeting were a constant to all whom he encountered in his 67 years. Among his numerous travels were his childhood time in Upper Darby, PA, his many military stations, Pittsburgh, PA, his life with his dear friends in Delaware County and Westville, New Jersey and finally Narberth, PA for the last 17 years. Paul passed away on August 6, 2015 leaving an infinite number of broken hearts, man and beast alike. He was a prolific presence at McShea’s Restaurant and the Narberth Great American Pub, greeting everyone with a kind word including all his canine friends, for whom he always had a biscuit and a loving pat. Since his passing, many people have expressed a desire to financially contribute to his memory and celebration of his life (“Paulie Palooza” – details forthcoming), including his end of life expenses. If you met Paulie once, you never forgot him: his many jokes, his twinkling eyes, his contagious laugh and his enormous heart. He will be missed forever. Any and all contributions to his GoFundMe page are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. Thank you very much!
