Baby Lucas needs our help!
Lucas is a four month old baby boy who was born with an unnamed genetic disorder and various health conditions.
Since his stay in the NICU, he has had daily specialist and therapy appointments, and has already undergone multiple tests and procedures. Sadly, some of these have adversely resulted in pneumonia and infection.
He is currently on his third hospital stay which has lasted over 3 weeks. Lucas is fighting for his life as the doctors treat a blood infection that threatens his already impaired heart.
His father, Tim, attempts to work as much as possible to combat the growing medical bills while visiting after hours.
Due to hospital policy regarding overnight stays and siblings, Lucas' mom, Stephanie, is forced to make daily trips (45 minutes each way) to and from the hospital with their preschool daughter, Bella, in tow.
Each member of the family is making the necessary sacrifices daily in hopes of bringing home a healthy Lucas one day.
His Parents are struggling with physical exhaustion as well as both emotionally and financially.
We are asking that our community come together and lift up this sweet family. Please pray for them and help alleviate some of their financial burden so that they can focus on Lucas.
