Parker Gibson Mission to Ukraine

I’m writing to you today to share with you something that God has placed on my heart. As you know, I have gone to Ukraine for the past 3 years to help with Jeremiah’s Hope:
It started in 2012 with a mission trip with our youth group. In 2013, I returned for one month as an intern. In 2014, I returned to Ukraine in the midst of refugee crisis caused by the escalation of the war in eastern Ukraine. Jeremiah's Hope took in over 300 refugees during the summer months while I was in Ukraine. My mission evolved from helping with summer camps for orphan children and ministry to the local villagers to aiding in the refugee crises. My mission lasted three months.
As you are aware, the war has continued to escalate and the citizens of eastern Ukraine are continuing to flee their homes heading towards the north. Jeremiah’s Hope is expecting more and more refugees and they desperately need help. My heart is filled with compassion for these wonderful people and I am planning to return. This time, I plan to stay for one year. It is my hope to return to Ukraine before the middle of March so that I can assist Jeremiah's Hope with the receiving and distribution of three 40 foot shipping containers full of food and also to serve the children and refugees of Ukraine.
I need YOUR help!
First, I ask for your prayers. Not only do I need your prayers, but the people of Ukraine need prayers. Please also pray for the full-time staff of Jeremiah’s Hope. Second, I need financial assistance. My immediate need is to raise $2000 for my airline ticket and international medical insurance. I also need sponsors to commit to monthly support. I’m estimating $600/month for food, utilities, trip to Poland to obtain temporary Ukrainian residency permit, and miscellaneous expenses.
Thank you for your prayers and support!
May God bless you and your family!
