Hi guys,
It's Gizell Vasquez, I am currently a graduate student at Angelo State University working on my Masters in Biology. I have been working for two years now to molecularly identify a parasitic flatworm that infects fish. I am nearing the end of my research and am approaching the end of my funding/grants. I have all of the DNA ready to be sequenced for both my host and parasite but the reactions to have them sequenced costs about $500 per plate and each plate allows for 96 reactions and I have a total of 495 reactions to complete. Without the extra funding we will have to cut down on the available data that I could provide. I have worked dilligently to collect the specimens and data that I currently have and want to ensure that I dont cheat the scientific community out of information that could easily be recovered with the use of more funds. I must have all of this data ASAP as I will be presenting the results in April and graduating in May. Any help will aide in the completion of this work, and I thank you for your consideration, as I know you have worked hard to earn your money.
