The The Panther City Track Club wishes to compete in the New Balance Outdoor Nationals at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. The track meet is from June 17th through June 19th. At this prestigious event we intend to compete against the nations best. For some, it will be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
We are seeking sponsors to help fund 5 young men to participate in the National track championships. Unfortunately, our school district, is not allowed to fund this venture due to state regulations, so we are forced to raise funds on our own.
Any support would be greatly appreciated. Our goal is to fundraise $5,000 to cover expenses such as transportation, hotel, food, registration, membership fees, uniforms, gas and miscellaneous costs.
The athletes on the Panther City Elite Track Club come from Camden, NJ, a city where poverty and violence are prevalent and attending this event would be a very rewarding and enriching experience for these young men. There are a few seniors on the team and this will be their last opportunity to display their talents in front of numerous college coaches in hopes of obtaining a scholarship. I hope with the donations we receive will help our team reach our destination. Please send all contributions to this link www.GoFundMe.com/916i18. . Thank you!!!
