Helping Hands for Little Palestinian Hearts

My name is Mohammad Kallas and I am a Palestinian-Canadian running 1000 consecutive days for 1000 children.

This goal began on January 1st, 2021, and on August 19, 2022, after reaching 600 consecutive days of running and over 3000km completed, I had three back-to-back heart attacks during a run in Doha, Qatar. From that moment on, my life changed. Not only did my running stop but my goal was shattered.

After months of healing mentally, and physically, on January 1st, 2023, I decided to restart my goal of running 1000 days for 1000 children. Although running almost killed me, today I am more determined and more committed than ever before to reaching my goal of running 1000 days consecutively for 1000 Palestinian children.

I am fully aware of the risks I am taking in restarting my goal and I have fully accepted that my next step could be my last therefore I have chosen not to think of tomorrow so I can live for today. I am content knowing I am living my life with purpose while hopefully giving hope and inspiration to others along the way.

MY GOAL: to raise money to help buy clothes, shoes, and sporting equipment for the children who lack these essential items. Every child deserves to play and every child deserves to play sports so let’s make this happen.

Every dollar counts. Even five dollars will go a long way. Thank you for supporting me with my goal and for being a beacon of hope and happiness for the kids who need it the most.

**Note** All money collected will be held until the proceeds in FULL can be transferred directly to children in Gaza.
