A Journey to a Life with Less Pain

Hi, I’m Wendy. I’m 57 years old and have been battling chronic pain for most of my life due to lifelong genetic conditions and the scars of domestic violence. Despite the challenges from early joint issues and severe headaches to the lasting impact of abuse I’ve learned to keep smiling, even when it’s just to hide the pain.

MY STORY

I was born with conditions like Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Chiari Malformation, which have brought on relentless physical challenges. Over the years, I’ve endured countless medical procedures, hospital stays, and expensive therapies. I’ve also suffered from the trauma of domestic violence, which has left both physical and emotional scars. Despite everything, I remain determined to improve my quality of life.

OUR GOAL

To help manage my pain and reclaim some normalcy, I’m raising funds for:

A Therapeutic Massage Chair: I need a zero-gravity massage chair priced at $6,900 to help ease my chronic pain and improve my circulation.

Medical Support: The remaining $3,100 will go toward essential treatments, including physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and other medical expenses for the coming year.
