Young Devon helps children and young adults, up to the age of 19, to find accommodation, help give them skills, help give them counselling, teach people like teachers about how to help with the mental wellbeing of their students and give young people a voice either through their service to improve it or to professionals who forget to listen.
I am also raising money for Devon Air Ambulance Trust Ltd and Young Devon. Any donation will help. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about Devon Air Ambulance Trust Ltd: Devon Air Ambulance is the charitable trust which raises the funds to keep two emergency Air Ambulances flying up to 17 hours a day, in the county of Devon. We are proud of our independence from Government funding. It currently costs 5.5 million pounds a year to fund our service. This comes from many different sources including a weekly Lottery, charity shops, community fundraising, donations, business support and legacies.
I am doing a charity paddle around Devon and slightly further afield to Bristol. This is because DAAT (Devon Air Ambulance Trust) help save lives not just in Devon but to some of the bordering counties such as Dorset and Somerset. So I am paddle with some people over 6 days and over 140 miles.
I am starting this on March 31st to 6th April and I will be finishing at the SS Great Britain, in Bristol.
