Hallo, ich bin Sophie – und ich brauche Ihre Hilfe.

Seit einem traumatischen Vorfall im Sommer 2024 hat sich mein Leben komplett verändert. Ich leide an einer schweren Traumafolgestörung mit Flashbacks, Panikattacken und Krampfanfällen. Mein Alltag ist ohne Unterstützung kaum noch zu bewältigen. Dinge wie Einkaufen, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel oder Nähe zu anderen Menschen sind für mich zur Herausforderung geworden.

Ich musste mein Studium unterbrechen und lange Zeit stationär behandelt werden, die Behandlung wird noch viele Jahre andauern.

Zusätzlich zur psychologischen Therapie könnte ein Therapiehund – auf Empfehlung meiner Psychologin – meine Lebensqualität spürbar verbessern und mir helfen, Schritt für Schritt in den Alltag zurückzufinden.

Ein Assistenzhund könnte mein Leben verändern – er würde mir Sicherheit geben, mich aus Albträumen wecken und mir helfen, wieder am Leben teilzunehmen. Mein größter Wunsch ist es, mein Studium fortzusetzen und meinen Traum, anderen Menschen zu helfen, zu verwirklichen.

Doch ein Assistenzhund kostet bis zu 45.000 € – eine Summe, die ich allein nicht aufbringen kann.

Hi, I'm Sophie– and I need your help.

Since a traumatic event in June 2024, my life has completely changed. I suffer from severe post-traumatic stress disorder with flashbacks, panic attacks, and seizures. Navigating daily life without support has become nearly impossible. Simple things like grocery shopping, using public transportation, or being around people have turned into overwhelming challenges.

I had to put my studies on hold and spent a long time in inpatient treatment. My recovery will take many more years.

In addition to psychological therapy, a service dog – as recommended by my psychologist – could significantly improve my quality of life and help me gradually regain a sense of normalcy.

A service dog could truly change my life. It would provide me with a sense of safety, wake me from nightmares, and support me in reengaging with the world. More than anything, I want to continue my studies and fulfill my dream of helping others.

But a fully trained service dog costs up to €45,000 – an amount I simply cannot afford on my own.

Dopo un evento traumatico nel giugno 2024, la mia vita è cambiata completamente. Soffro di un grave disturbo da stress post-traumatico con flashback, attacchi di panico e convulsioni. Affrontare la vita quotidiana senza supporto è diventato quasi impossibile. Anche le cose più semplici, come fare la spesa, usare i mezzi pubblici o stare vicino ad altre persone, sono diventate sfide enormi.

Ho dovuto interrompere i miei studi e trascorrere molto tempo in cura ospedaliera. Il mio percorso di guarigione durerà ancora molti anni.

Oltre alla terapia psicologica, un cane da assistenza – come consigliato dalla mia psicologa – potrebbe migliorare significativamente la mia qualità di vita e aiutarmi a ritrovare gradualmente un po' di normalità.

Un cane da assistenza potrebbe davvero cambiare la mia vita. Mi darebbe sicurezza, mi sveglierebbe dagli incubi e mi aiuterebbe a reinserirmi nella società. Il mio più grande desiderio è riprendere gli studi e realizzare il mio sogno di aiutare gli altri.

Ma l'addestramento di un cane da assistenza può costare fino a 45.000 € – una cifra che non posso permettermi da sola.
