In Port St. Lucie, our athletes are built on the field, but the most important life-saving skills are found in the water.
I am Coach Deni, founder of the Port St. Lucie Swim Squad. After years of seeing the incredible impact of our "No Sweat" swimming method, I realized there was a community that needed us more than ever: our local football players. Inspired by elite programs like the Baltimore Ravens' training with Michael Phelps, I am launching a specialized aquatic conditioning and water safety program designed for the gridiron.
Our mission is simple: Build stronger, faster athletes while ensuring every player has the life-saving skills they need to be safe in the water.
We believe that safety should never be a luxury. We are raising funds to expand our reach and remove the financial barriers for our local stars. Your donations will go directly toward:
- Scholarship Slots: Fully sponsoring registration for local football players who otherwise couldn't afford the training.
- Lane Rentals & Facilities: Securing consistent time at Our county pools to accommodate larger team groups.
- Community Safety Outreach: Helping us maintain our "No Price Increase" commitment for our 8-week community programs, ensuring Treasure Coast families stay water-competent.
In 2026 we will run a cross training program that will increase endurance for high school football players and teach them all to become safe swimmers. Guess who else is on board? The Baltimore Ravens hired Michael Phelps to teach their players to swim. Half of their players are non -swimmers. There are many instances of pro football players losing their lives to drowning.
Help us launch this unique pilot program and we will seek funding from the NFL to expand in the future.
