PJs Expenses Post Stroke & Brain Surgery
Donation protected
On June 1, 2019, my 48-year-old son P.J. McCue, suffered a brain AVM (Arterial Vein Malformation) rupture, which caused a stroke and massive swelling of his brain. He underwent a craniotomy to stop the bleeding and swelling. Once the surgeons were accessed any brain tissue damage, they were able remove the AVM in its entity. Although not out of the woods, P.J. has made it to rehab where is regaining all the uses of his left side of his body.
P.J. is blessed that he works for a great company with health insurance but with an uncertain timeline to his recovery, he will be unable to return to work. And with the medical expenses rolling in, we need to seek support in the form of financial donations to help with these all. We also must take into consideration any modifications that may need to be made to his home to accommodate any needs of a walker or wheelchair.
Both of P.J.'s parents are in their seventies and unable afford the upkeep for two households. As a family, we never pictured ourselves in such a situation nor is asking for financial support something that we wanted to do. This has become a necessity for P.J.’s future.
P.J. is a fine young man, who is hard working. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and wildlife photography. He enjoys being with his family and dear friends. During recovery it’s important that we be able to help keep up P.J.'s spirits and stop him from worrying about how we will pay his bills.
The McCue Family thanks each one of you in advance for helping us in our time of need.
