Paulette H. Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund

Hello Relatives,

We, the family of the late Paulette H. Brown humbly request your support in maintaining the Paulette H. Brown Memorial Scholarship. Established in 1986, this scholarship commemorates the enduring service, leadership and citizenship attributes of Paulette H. Brown,—known to many as “Sis”—a proud and beloved member of the Shinnecock Nation and Southampton community. 

To date, the scholarship has awarded nearly $160,000 to more than six dozen graduates of Southampton High School who continue to be thriving examples of Sis’ legacy. This year Southampton High School anticipates a dozen Shinnecock

graduates, not to mention any others who may qualify. However, to keep the memorial scholarship alive to aid in the achievement and advancement of our communities’ graduates, we need your help!

For those of you with the heart to give in honor of Sis’ memory, we thank you in advance for anything you are able to contribute. Likewise, we appreciate the continued support of the many previous Paulette H. Brown Memorial Scholarship awardees who annually donate to pay their success forward to the next

generation.
