After visiting Hogar San Roque, a remote animal shelter in a village in Arraijan as part of a school club activity, I realized that fostering one cat was not enough. There are more than 500 animals living here: many sick and needing care that the sole volunteer, Maité, who works tirelessly every day cannot give them. There is always a shortage of food, dewormers, funds for veterinary care, and cleaning supplies. They are constantly needing help, so if you are not able to donate money or supplies, they are always open for volunteers to help them.

Después de visitar el Hogar San Roque, un refugio de animales remoto en un pueblo de Arraiján, como parte de una actividad escolar, me di cuenta de que acoger a un solo gato no era suficiente.
