Lance Blanton is loving husband, father, grandpa, son, brother, uncle, and friend to all! He extremely family oriented, he lives & grew up in beautiful Ridgecrest, CA.

In February 2014, Lance was diagnosised with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Shortly after being diagnosised he had to stop working and leave his family to start his fight again cancer at the City of Hope. He stayed at the City of Hope until he was cancer free in February 2015. Lance got to come home & enjoy life; go for motorcycle rides, return back to work, and having family & friends over for BBQ's.

Until, a few months after being told cancer free, Lance relapsed with AML.  Now in order to treat his illness, Lance is scheduled to have a bone marrow transplant on Friday, 31 July.

Lance and John, his son left early Tuesday, 21 July to City of Hope to start the Chemo & Radiation to prepare for the transplant. Saturday, 24 July Lance's brother Van will head down to spend the day with him and on Sunday Cindy, his wife will be down there by his side.

After the transplant Lance will be admitted to the City of Hope for apx. 30 days, then he will be moved to the Village, on the hospital campus for apx. 70 days. During his stay at the Village, one of his family member will be staying with him at all times.

If you're from or have lived in Ridgecrest and don't know Lance, I'm sure you know his family; his wife Cindy, from Desert Valleys and Navy Fed; his oldest son Joey, who is involved in Ridgecrest Autism Awareness & works at RRH; John, his son, who is owns Fabrication Unlimited Squared, active in the off road racing; Travis, his son, who will be a senior this year at BHS; Trevor, the youngest, who enjoys riding dirt bikes; his parents, Pat & Johnny who use to own Pizza Villa & JB's Pizza; his sister Kathy who owns Pony Espresso; or his brother Van who works with Lance at Searls Valley Minerals.

Lance is a hard worker, he loves his family to the ends of the earth and supports them with his every being, now it's time to let him recover from this and help support him through his fight.

It's our time as a community to come together as one and support him as he has supported others, all money and donations will go straight to him and his family in help to aid with doctor bills and his stay at the City of Hope Village.
