Ground school was incredible amount of studying yet I was able to become eligible for the National Society of Leadership and Success and work full time.

Your funding will allow me to:

• fully immerse myself aggressively in aviation so I can become the pilot you feel safe getting you and loved ones safely to your destination, deliver your food or more.
• Fly 2-4 time a week so I can build the muscle memory of an astute and safe pilot.
• fast track my graduation
• Work with and for integrity driven companies and people
• Not start my career in debt so I have have more thoughtful decisions in my career path
• Not rely on Federal student aid, grants or more student loans since they may not be available
• study the back end of general aviation by acquiring my dispatching certification which will further my education in Flight planning (routes, fuel, alternates), Weather analysis (serious, not just METAR reading), Weight & balance, Regulations and risk decisions
• meet the necessary hours needed to be a serious aircraft operator

I can study in phases, such as :

Flight training: Instructor, aircraft rental and insurance $255-$320 per Hr

Instrument to Airline level/ Serious Operator $175 to $200 per Hr

• Private + Instrument: 100–150 hours
• Commercial + Multi + Dispatch + Degree: 250 hours

First job (CFI or similar): 500–800 hours

Serious operator level: 800–1,200 hours

Airline eligible (ATP): 1,250–1,500 hours

I am currently enrolled at Florida State College at Jacksonville's Professional Pilot Program. I have already completed a year of my degree and before I continue I would like for you all to consider assisting me on this brave journey! I will complete this program, continue acquiring the 250 hours by applying for an instructor position and use those hours to get me to the necessary flight hours needed to acquire my commercial certification if my funding goal isn't met. You all would expedite this process!

I acquired my Commercial Driving license recently and have since realized I not only enjoy traveling, I also enjoy mechanics and logistics.

Unfortunately, utilizing my license and going over the road is not an option since my classes and training require me to be physically present.

The airline industry is hiring at a high rate. The job outlook for pilots is predicted to increase by 13% between the years 2020 and 2030. These skills coupled with my communications degree could really bring my education to a cohesive point of success. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, airline pilots, co-pilots and flight engineers earn $202,180 per year on average. I currently have health, focus, support and determination on my side and I don’t want to waste it.

With this degree in Professional Pilot Technology, I will have a minimum of three careers I will be competently trained and certified for that range from 100k to 200k yearly with a Airline. Those options don’t include the others I will have the opportunities to explore in this field.

I’d like to use my experience in transportation and logistics to forge forward with my ultimate goal of expanding my logistics and transportation interests to establish an entrepreneurial endeavor that delivers affordable organically grown produce to largely populated cities as well as, rural areas that struggle with affordable access to viable produce. This will also allow local farmers and small businesses to expand their access. to consumers I’ll be working with established co-ops throughout the country wanting to expand and make available high-quality produce at fair rates.

Although I know I must demonstrate a large amount of patience and determination, I confidently feel this education will be life changing and a prosperous experience for many communities.
