This is Jordan. He was born 11 weeks early, on September 3 2024. He has trisomy-21 (Down syndrome). Jordan’s first few weeks on this earth have been a struggle. While his heart appears strong, his lungs are underdeveloped and he is not triggering breaths on his own. Because of this, he is on a full ventilator as of this writing. He’s had multiple blood transfusions, and a brain bleed that has caused trauma. He has also developed Spontaneous Chylothorax, a rare lymphatic condition ,often deadly in infants. The chylothorax causes severe swelling on the upper half of his body.

If possible, as soon as he can safely be, he will be transferred from Winnie Palmer in Orlando to a specialist in Pennsylvania. Jordan’s mom Jesalyn will be traveling with him to Pennsylvania. As the primary bread winner in the family this has been effecting their ability to care for and support their other three children also.

Funds will be used to stay with Jordan through all his medical process. Also for any special needs items for when he comes home.
