Support the Vulnerable Children We Work With

Tax deductible
Dear friends and supporters,

ChildPlay International (CPI) works to promote greater opportunities for play and education where it has been curtailed because of war, poverty, natural disaster or refugee status. Over 5000 children reached so far!

We are changing children in Kenya, Uganda, Haiti and Pakistan's lives for the better
CPI is hosting a fundraiser for our mask-making program benefiting vulnerable children in Haiti and our Storytelling for A Brighter Future workshops in Pakistan and Kenya (starting July 20th).
  • Two girls from our (ongoing) winter-spring workshop. Zoom in on their amazing work. During the spring workshop, Didier has been teaching the children how to sculpt.

Our Storytelling for a Brighter Future has launched in Peshawar!

Illiteracy is a huge problem in Pakistan, with 40% of the population thought to be illiterate. CPI has partnered with the incredible artist and childcare activist Huma Jalwat. Huma puts a roof over 250 children's heads and has already held two Storytelling events.

Storytelling for Illiterate Children and Young Adults in Peshawar.
Her organization teaches the art of painting and drawing to vulnerable, illiterate (former) street children in Peshawar. In June, we held our first two Storytelling workshops for the children, and now we need your support to make the program permanent.
The monthly budget is USD 380. This includes food, art supply and caretaking of the younger children.

  • Child drawing during a CPI Storytelling Event in June. The children’s slogan is “Who Cares If We Can’t Read or Write, We Can Paint!”

In April, ChildsPlay's efforts in Haiti, Ghana and Pakistan were covered in A25 Magazine, distributed in NYC, Hamptons and West Palm Beach. Read about us here.

We are Training Girls to Become Mask-Makers in Haiti
We empower girls by involving them in this male-dominated field.

100% of Donations Go to the Programs in Haiti, Pakistan and Kenya.
We ensure transparency, and all donations directly support the program and food provision. We are in contact with Didier frequently.

What Your Support Means.
Your donation directly impacts the vulnerable children we work with in two ways:
  • Learning a local craft (and preserving cultural heritage)
  • Providing nutritious meals during the workshop.
  • Interact with community elders/build community and sense of belonging

The Positive Impact of Our Mask-Making and Storytelling Program.
  • The impact of our workshops goes beyond teaching a craft.
  • We are giving hope and skills to vulnerable children who face numerous challenges in their lives.
  • The workshops instills a sense of pride, self-worth, and belonging in these amazing children, empowering them to envision a brighter future for themselves.
  • Some of last summer's students.

Your Support Matters.
With your support, we provide opportunities for girls and equip children with skills for a brighter future.

Consider donating to our mask-making workshop and empowering the children of Haiti, Pakistan and Kenya. For more information, email us here.

Thank you for your support. Together, let's empower the children we work with and create a brighter future for them.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Team ChildsPlay International
