Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers: we desperately need your help to start a family through IVF.

We've already absorbed over $47,963 in medical expenses for our family to try and have a family and we just can't do it alone anymore amidst so many financial setbacks and losses 

We have a long journey ahead and our total goal right now is $15,000 which will helps cover the cost of IVF not covered by any government grants, funding or benefits. We just want the chance to try and have a family after so much loss in our lives.

We've always worked hard and handled expenses on our own including having multiple jobs at times, hours long commutes for years, working out of town for months on end and doing everything possible to get through each and every time something unexpected came our way. 

All we ask is for even a small donation of $5, $10 or $25 which makes a BIG difference or a share on social media, through email or text to caring and compassionate people to spread the word.

In these past few years, we’ve faced challenge after challenge:

* The unexpected and devastating loss of Derek’s father last year

* The stress and panic of 5 job losses for Derek

*The unexpected and tragic loss of Derek's dad (November 2024)

*The unexpected and tragic loss of our dog, Stella (November 2025)

* The heart-breaking stress and strain of infertility

* Unexpectedly being forced to sell and relocate due to job loss associated with COVID

*Trying to re-build our lives here in Niagara despite additional job losses, housing delays due to COVID, sky-rocketing mortgage rates resulting in doubling our mortgage payments unexpectedly

*The trauma and heartbreak of losing our one puppy Artois at three

*The trauma and ongoing stress of dealing with our other puppy Stella, with medical complications and unexpected seizures leading to daily disruption (she's our first baby and I wouldn't change it for the world)

* Significant lost income from time off due to all of these illnesses, loss, medical issues,  surgeries, and ongoing fertility procedures.

We’re devastated at the thought of giving up on our dream—not because we lack the love, desire, or commitment, but because of finances alone not covered by any government healthcare.,

* IVF treatment and embryo transfers

* Fertility medications (not fully covered)

* Lab, storage, and medical procedure costs

* Travel and associated medical expenses

* Lost wages from time off of work
