#OperationJoseph Phase 2: Support Jews in Africa

#OperationJoseph is a project where African-Americans and all people are invited to send support to Jews in Africa, The Caribbean and African Jews in any part of the world. #OperationJoseph was launched in 2018 when I was visiting the Sefwi Jews of Ghana and learned of the needs of this community and also saw the needs of African Jews across the continent. As African-Americans we were inspired by the story of Joseph and his brothers in Genesis to support our African Jewish/Hebrew brothers and sisters. From 2018 to 2021 we have given support to 63 African Jewish/ Hebrew synagogues, congregations, orphanages, NGOs, farms and individuals needing assistance for education and medical fees.

We are continuing #OperationJoseph to support African Jews in Africa and the diaspora as well as Israel. We give support to ALL African Jews/Hebrews whether conservative, orthodox, Messianic or non-affiliated but we DO NOT seek to change the doctrines or beliefs of those we donate to. This is a project of family supporting family but we do invite people of all backgrounds to donate and bless Jews in Africa.
