Hit a rough patch during a career change. Need some help ✨

My name is Courtney Pickering.

I am a single mom that could currently really use a little help getting back on track.

Times are hard for everyone right now, and I don’t expect much to come of this.

I’m not the best at asking for help, but it was brought to my attention that this was an option when I thought I was out of options and am in the process of losing everything I’ve worked so hard to keep.

Life has thrown curveball after curveball lately, and it’s really been hard to catch up!

I am currently behind on every bill, most importantly my car. I do not receive assistance from the state.

I just did a career change from barber to table games dealer. In the time it’s taken me to get my dealing license I’ve gotten behind. Where all I was able to make during this time was only enough for survival. Lost my place. Can’t lose my car. My car is up for repossession, and I absolutely need it to get to work 40 minutes away and to be able to pick my daughter up from summer care. I have been to charities for groceries and for some relief on my bills that they can help with. I am about to start seeing it come in from this dealing job. It’s just the timing. So close, yet not close enough. God has provided every day just what we need, and I believe He will continue in this season. Because I KNOW it’s not even me right now but His Grace getting us through. I come here humbled and transparent. It’s hard to ask for help. Summer is here and it’s gonna take me 3 solid checks to save my car and that’s missing out on groceries, necessities and fun for her. I’m more than willing to sacrifice for myself to get it. I hate that she has to. She deserves everything, and I can’t do anything but work and wait. I am barely making it, But GOD IS ABLE. I have hope.
