Hi everyone,
My name is Angelica, and I’m organizing a medical mission to support the Dumagats, an indigenous tribe living in the remote mountains of Bulacan, Philippines. These resilient communities have limited access to healthcare, and with your help, we can bring life-saving services directly to them.
The Dumagats live in areas far from hospitals and basic clinics. Many have to travel hours by foot through rugged terrain just to reach medical help. Our team- made up of volunteer doctors, nurses, and health workers — is planning to visit the tribe this August to provide check-ups, medicine, minor treatments, and health education.
This cause is deeply personal to me. I grew up visiting Bulacan and learning about the rich culture and spirit of the Dumagat people. This is our chance to give back to a community that’s been forgotten by many, but not by us.
Every dollar will go directly toward serving this community. No amount is too small — even $10 helps buy a set of vitamins and antibiotics for one family.
Why This Matters:
The Dumagats are kind, welcoming, and often overlooked. They live off the land and maintain centuries-old traditions — but their lack of access to healthcare leaves them vulnerable, especially children and elders. This mission is a chance to build trust, improve lives, and create long-term impact.
