Help Dave Stay Home With Eric

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me about helping the Piburn family. I was going to end the go fund me as we had reached our goal birthday wish goal, but so many of you reached about wanting to send donations to help Eric and his family. I have decided to keep the fundraiser going but switch focus to raising enough funds that Eric's dad Dave can take a month or more off work and be with his family. Dave is a dedicated father and sole provider for the family so taking too much time off work is just not an option.  So my new goal is to raise $30,000 to help cover living expenses and bills so that Eric can be with both his parents right now.  The funds raised will cover monthly medical bills, rent, car payment, insurance, utilities, food, and pay off medical debt as well.  Eric has had a tough few days and nights seem to be the hardest he needs his dad home with him and Dave deserves to be with his family while they still have time to be together. Please consider donating and if you can not donate please share you never know who may be able to help!

Thank you for all the prayers, love and support!

Eric Piburn, 13, was born with Congenital Heart Disease. He is in need of a heart and double lung transplant. But sadly, his family was told that his transplant is inoperable.  This week Eric's family were told his doctors have run out of treatment options and that he has weeks to months left. This is heartbreaking for the family and they are processing and helping Eric come to terms with what is happening to him.

Eric is a Kindness Warrior and has dedicated his life to inspiring kindness through different community projects with local charities. Eric has made a huge impact on his community and it has been an honor to help him with his mission of kindness.

Eric has taught me that no matter what I am going through or how bad I am feeling the best way to heal myself is by helping ours.

Eric's hero is Lighting Mcqueen! Lighting Mcqueen is Eric's most faithful friend he is there for every doctor visit, hospital stay, playtime, sad times, and happy days basically Lighting Mcqueen never leaves his side.
Eric has always wished to meet Mcqueen and this was supposed to be the year for him to finally make it to Holly wood Studios in Orlando and go to Lighting Mcqueen's Racing Academy, then Covid happened and all plans and wishes were put on hold.
However, we live in a magical world full of amazing people and we can bring Lighting Mcqueen to life and let this sweet kid meet his hero.

Please consider helping me in making this dream a reality by donating to our project, $4,500 is what it will take to bring Mcqeen to life and I believe there is enough good in the world that if everyone just gives a little we can make it happen,  any extra funds raised will go directly to the family to support them through this very difficult time.

Thank you for your support!
