Oliver was diagnosed with Craniosynostosis midway through 2023, and has been receiving treatment (chiro and physio) for his head and neck since he was 3 months old. The solution for Ollie to treat his Cranio is surgery, which QLD Health deem it necessary to delay the surgery until he is 18 months old. This can potentially cause brain developmental issues if left untreated. The alternative for us is to travel to Adelaide for the surgery. The team at the WCH in Adelaide have advised that the surgery will be completed by January 2024, and medical support will be provided for Ollie’s pre, during and post surgery. This gofundme is set up to ease the pressure of having to travel interstate and the expenses that come with it. All three of us would be grateful for any amount given.
