OatMeals opened eight years ago with a mission to provide our community with a healthy approach to the fast casual restaurant scene, serving an old-fashioned staple in new and exciting ways. We quickly became a Greenwich Village staple and neighborhood favorite and have opened up the minds of people around the world about the amazing versatility of oatmeal and all of its possibilities.
As a single location, female owned and operated small business, we are part of the special fabric of NYC and what makes this city so great.
In the face of COVID-19, we attempted to serve for as long as possible. Sadly, like many others, we had to close our doors on March 18th. With a 100% loss of income to the restaurant and staff (many of whom have been with us for years), lost inventory, and no clear indication of when this will end, we worry about our future.
If you’ve enjoyed OatMeals’ unique take on heart-warming oatmeal, delighted in watching your bowl being drizzled with honey by smiling staff, or would give just about anything to have a peanut butter date granola bar and an oat milk latte right about now… please consider donating to this fund which will help us meet our ongoing obligations to our staff, landlord, and vendors, so that we can ensure this closure isn’t permanent. We desperately want to reopen and see your smiling faces at our counter ASAP!

We’re not sure what will happen on the other side of this but we’re excited to return to doing what we do best, serving our loyal customers and friends every day.
