Photographic Road Trip – NY, LA & Canada
I'm Philip-Daniel Ducasse, a photographer and videographer based in New York City. My work aims to capture the spirit of the city in both still and moving images, its majestic, graffitied architecture, sunset city scapes, intense and vulnerable people. The secret to my success has been to never look back and always focus on the road ahead. It is with this determination and grit that has lead me to launch this project entitled ONWARD.

THE TRIP: NYC to LA and back via Canada
I'll fly from New York City to LA to kick off the 14 day road trip. Renting a car, I'll drive to San Francisco, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver. From Vancouver I'll drive back to Seattle and fly home to NYC.
Along the way I'll document everything I see, posting updates to social media. I'll return with a body of work and host a still image showcase in NYC.
If this trip's a success I'd love to keep on travelling, creating imagery that reflects our crazy existence and brings us hope.
WHEN?
Tentative date, November 10th -November 24th 2016. Just in time for Thanksgiving!
THE MONEY
Anything helps! All funds will be used to hire photography equipment and cover transportation, food and lodging.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
Everyone who donates will receive an invitation to the opening of my show in NYC and a digital series of the best images captured during the trip. You'll also be invited to follow the trip via social media.
