Hi! We are Luis Tentindo and Julio Medina, two MFA Candidates in the Dept. of World Arts & Cultures/Dance at UCLA.
We are raising funds towards our final concert on April 1st and 2nd, 2016. This is our final presentation that culminates 3 years of research and rehearsals.
Our money will be used primarily to honor our talented dancers and costume designers who have been working with us on these projects since day 1! These artists have generously offered their time and skill to support our efforts and we want to give them each a modest honorarium to show our gratitude. Your contributions will make a big difference: we need the funds as soon as possible in order to pay our collaborators by the show dates April 1st and 2nd.
This means a lot to us because we’ve put in a lot of work as choreographer’s, but the work simply is not possible without the artists (dancers, costume designers). They make the art come to life, and it means a lot that they are compensated for their invaluable creativity and hard work. We have been fortunate to have the opportunity to study and work at UCLA’s Department of World Arts and Cultures/Dance, now we just need your help to make this show a success!
We will be ever so thankful for any contributions! So thankful! We will include donors in a big thank you in our program notes for the show. And for any donations over $50, one of us will send you a “Thank you dance!” to your preferred e-mail, FaceBook profile, or Instagram! Thank you!
